Data Integration · ingestion, mapping, monitoring
Every source mapped to one model. Every run accounted for.
Connect ERP, ecommerce, supplier files, marketplaces and coexisting PIM or MDM systems. Autonera maps, transforms, normalizes and validates inbound data against the governed model, writes approved results back, and agents keep mappings current when sources change.

Enterprise connectivity
Connected to the systems your product data lives in.
APIs, events and file exchange bring ERP, ecommerce, supplier, PIM, MDM and enterprise application data into one governed model, and send approved data back out.

01 · Connect
Each source has a contract, not a script
A source is defined by how it connects (API, connector or file), its direction (inbound, outbound or both), its schedule or trigger, and the mapping profile it uses. Supplier sources are profiled one by one, because every supplier's file is different.

| Source | Connects via | Direction | Trigger |
|---|---|---|---|
| ERP item and vendor master | API or scheduled extract | In and approved write-back | Nightly |
| Supplier price and spec files | File drop, per-supplier profile | Inbound | On arrival |
| Ecommerce platform | API | In (signals) and out | Product change events |
| Marketplace reports | Channel API or report file | Inbound status | Hourly |
| Existing PIM or MDM | API | Coexistence, both ways | On change |
| Engineering export | File | Inbound | Weekly |
Generic system types only. Named connectors appear only on the existing Integrations page.
02 · Map
Mappings that notice when a source changes
Source-to-target mappings are versioned configuration. When a known supplier adds, renames or moves a column, the run does not silently misload: the change is detected, affected records are held, and an agent proposes the corrected mapping with evidence.

Agent proposal: map col 17 to Canadian registration number.
Evidence: header text, 41 of 44 sample values match the pattern of a registration number, same mapping exists for two other suppliers. Confidence below auto-apply policy.
03 · Transform and normalize
Values arrive in your units, codes and vocabulary
Transformations split, convert, look up and standardize. Normalization uses the same reference lists MDM uses for matching, so a value normalized on ingestion is comparable everywhere.

04 · Run and monitor
Partial failure is visible the moment it happens
Each run reports what loaded, what is held and what failed, at record level. Failures are classified: transient errors retry under policy, data errors become owned exceptions. Try the retry on a transient failure.

How a supplier file becomes governed data
Receive
File arrives; source profile and layout are identified.
Map
Approved mapping applied; layout changes are held.
Transform
Rules convert, split and look up values.
Validate
Records checked against model and governance rules.
Hand off
Passed records update PIM and MDM; exceptions route to owners.
Industrial distributor
Two hundred suppliers send price and spec files in their own formats.
Agents propose mappings per supplier and flag files whose layout changed since the last run.
Manufacturer with ERP
Approved enriched attributes must flow back to ERP item master.
Governed write-back runs after approval, with failures retried and logged.
Building products distributor, acquisition
An acquired company's PIM must coexist for a year before consolidation.
A two-way API source keeps families and attributes in sync through a code crosswalk; records without a golden link become MDM match candidates.
Autonomous execution and its boundary
Agents take on mapping upkeep. Owners approve what changes the model.
Integration effort is mostly maintenance: new suppliers, changed layouts, failed runs. Agents absorb that work; nothing they propose changes a mapping or writes to an enterprise system without the authority you assign.
Agents do
- Propose mappings for new supplier files from headers, samples and prior mappings
- Detect layout and value-pattern changes in known sources
- Classify failures as transient or data-related and retry under policy
- Group recurring data errors into one exception with a suggested fix
People decide
- Integration owners approve new and changed mappings
- Write-back to ERP and other systems follows assigned permissions
- Retry limits and all-or-nothing settings are set per source
- Data exceptions route to the responsible steward
Buyer questions
Does Autonera replace our integration platform or iPaaS?
Not necessarily. Autonera's integration layer is designed for product, supplier and master data: mapping to the governed model, normalization, validation and write-back. It can sit beside an enterprise integration platform that moves the data, or connect directly through APIs and file exchange.
Which systems can be connected?
Common patterns are ERP item and vendor masters, ecommerce platforms, supplier files, marketplaces, engineering exports and existing PIM or MDM systems. Named connectors are listed only on the existing Integrations page; other systems connect through APIs and file exchange. Confirm specifics with our team.
How are supplier files with different layouts handled?
Each supplier source has its own mapping profile. For a new or changed layout, an agent proposes a mapping using column names, sample values and previous mappings. The integration owner approves it before it is used for loads.
Is integration real-time?
Scheduled, on-arrival and event-driven runs are in scope. What is appropriate depends on the source system's capabilities and the volume involved.
What happens when part of a load fails?
Runs report record-level outcomes. Transient failures such as timeouts can be retried under a retry policy. Data failures become exceptions routed to an owner; good records are not blocked by bad ones unless the run is configured to be all-or-nothing.
Can approved data be written back to ERP?
Governed write-back is designed to run only for approved values and within the permissions assigned to the integration. Failures are logged and retried or escalated.
