What is Knowledge Graph?

Definition

A Knowledge Graph structures product information by linking entities like products, categories, suppliers, and attributes. In PIM, it improves contextual understanding, intelligent search, and AI-driven recommendations. It enables richer insights and more meaningful relationships between data points.

A graph makes relationships explicit; its usefulness depends on trustworthy links and entity identity. For example, an autonomous product data operation could take a fixture linked to a supplier, driver, and compliance document, traverse the relevant product relationships, and identify affected records when a supporting document changes.
