What is Templates?

Definition

Pre-configured layouts defining the required fields, attribute sets, and formats for product data entry. Used during onboarding, enrichment, and exports to ensure consistency and quality. Accelerates user adoption and helps maintain structured, standardized product catalogs.

A template standardizes repeatable structure without guaranteeing that submitted content is correct. For example, an autonomous product data operation could take a recurring product-data request to suppliers, apply the approved fields, instructions, and required-value rules, and validate each submission against the same intake expectations.
