What is Product Content Syndication?
Definition
Product content syndication distributes product information from the PIM to multiple sales and marketing channels. It ensures each channel receives the right format, mandatory fields, and enriched content. This improves visibility, reduces listing errors, and accelerates time-to-market.
Content syndication prepares descriptive and media information for each receiving channel. For example, an autonomous product data operation could take approved fixture descriptions and photographs, adapt permitted content to destination length and media requirements, and verify acceptance and handle rejected assets.
